Jack Engelhard has written many novels and among his most compelling is the Paramount Movie that was created starring Robert Redford and Demi Moore from his book, “Indecent Proposal.” In this first of a two part interview, Laurence discusses with Jack his fascinating life story and the sources for the inspiration for the movie. In part 2, Jack will discuss the connections he sees between the culture that gave birth to “Indecent Proposal” and the 1960s through the reference point of his later novel, “Days of the Bitter End” which uses a JFK impersonator to bring to dramatic life the consequences of the Kennedy assasination on US society.
